In a notice, the Commission said the last date for submission of memorandums now stands extended to June 15 and described it as the final timeline for submissions.
It added that no further extension would be granted.
The move marks the second extension by the Commission. The deadline was earlier extended till May 31, after an initial submission window that closed in April.
The Commission has also clarified that memorandums must be submitted only through its official website, 8cpc.gov.in. Hard copies, physical submissions, emails and PDF documents may not be considered.
The 8th CPC is currently gathering views and representations from stakeholders as part of the consultation process ahead of preparing its recommendations on pay, allowances and pensions for central government employees and pensioners.
The 8th Pay Commission was constituted through a government notification on November 3, 2025. Its mandate covers a review of pay, allowances, and other benefits for central government employees, defence personnel, All India Services officers, Union Territory staff, and other specified categories. It is expected to submit its recommendations within 18 months of its constitution and may issue interim reports if required.
