The project, valued at approximately $560 million, is for the West Minya Solar Power Project in Minya Governorate. The JV is a 50:50 partnership with Hassan Allam Construction, a leading contractor in Egypt and the MENA region. The company said the order marks its third GW-scale order received in the last nine months.
The joint venture will execute full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project, including photovoltaic installations, battery storage systems, grid interconnection works, transmission infrastructure, and all balance-of-plant and supporting systems required for completion. Once completed, the project will be among Egypt’s largest utility-scale renewable energy developments.

Fourth Quarter Results
The company posted a net profit of ₹135 crore for the fourth quarter, more than doubling from ₹55.4 crore in the same period last year. However, revenue for the quarter declined 22.8% to ₹1,945 crore, compared to ₹2,519 crore a year ago.
The company saw its EBITDA rising 9% year-on-year to ₹145.5 crore from ₹133.4 crore. Margins improved to 7.5% from 5.3% in the year-ago quarter. Shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd ended at ₹244.25, down by ₹2.25, or 0.91%, on the BSE
