The rally was not limited to large-cap companies. Mphasis rose as much as 4.85 per cent to touch Rs 2,230, while Persistent Systems gained 3.92 per cent to an intraday high of Rs 4,499.90. LTIMindtree advanced 3.76 per cent to Rs 3,680, extending gains alongside other digital engineering and services firms.
