Dividend Stock Alert: Bakery food company Britannia Industries has announced a final dividend of Rs 90.50 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The dividend will be paid within the statutory timelines after deduction of applicable taxes, to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as of the record date.
“Recommended a Final dividend of Rs 90.50/- per Equity Share of face value of 1/- each for the financial year ended 31st March, 2026, for approval of the Members at the ensuing 107th Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Company. The Final Dividend if declared, will be paid within the statutory timelines after deduction of applicable taxes,” Britannia Industries said in an exchange filing dated May 7, 2026.
The company’s 107th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, through Video Conferencing (VC) and Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM) in accordance with the applicable circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
The dividend has been recommended from the company’s profits for the financial year 2025-26. July 31, 2026, has been fixed as the record date to determine shareholders’ eligibility for the dividend.
“Approved to close the Register of Members from Saturday, 1st August, 2026 to Friday, 7th August, 2026 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of AGM and determining the entitlement of the Members to the Final Dividend. Therefore, the Record Date for the AGM and Final Dividend is Friday, 31st July, 2026,” the company said.
Britannia Industries reported a 21.56 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 679.68 crore for the March quarter of FY26. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 559.13 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by Britannia Industries.
Britannia Industries’ revenue from the sale of products rose 7 per cent to Rs 4,685.95 crore in the March quarter. Its revenue from operations increased 6.46 per cent to Rs 4718.92 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26. It was Rs 4,432.19 crore a year ago.
Britannia’s total expenses climbed 6.2 per cent to Rs 3,969.96 crore in Q4 FY26. The total income of Britannia, which includes other income, rose 6.2 per cent to Rs 4,774.37 crore in the March quarter.

Shares of Britannia Industries closed at Rs 5,383.75 per share on Friday, July 24, down 0.09 per cent from the previous close of Rs 5,388.60 per share. During the day the counter swung between Rs 5,456.80 and Rs 5,315.35 per share.
The stock reached its 52-week high level on September 4, 2025 at Rs 6,336.95 per share; while 52-week low level came on June 4, 2026 at Rs 5,038 per share.
