Bank of Baroda | Bank of Baroda’s Q1 profit plunged to ₹1,278 crore, sharply below the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate, due to a one-time exceptional loss of ₹5,680 crore related to the settlement of NMC litigation. Net interest income rose 10% year-on-year to ₹12,525 crore, while provisions declined sharply. Asset quality weakened slightly on a sequential basis.
NTPC | State-run power giant NTPC Ltd on Friday (July 24) reported an 11.9% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹5,342.4 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹4,774 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
SBI Card | SBI Card reported a 19.5% year-on-year rise in Q1 net profit to ₹664.4 crore. However, net interest income remained largely flat, declining marginally to ₹1,676 crore from ₹1,681 crore a year ago.
Lodha Developers | Realty developer Lodha reported a strong performance for the June quarter, with consolidated net profit more than doubling to ₹1,372.1 crore from ₹674.7 crore a year ago. Revenue rose 43.1% YoY to ₹4,997 crore, while EBITDA surged 95.3% to ₹1,922.4 crore. EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 38.5%, compared with 28.2% in the year-ago period.
KFin Technologies | KFin Technologies reported a mixed set of Q1 earnings. Net profit declined 2.6% year-on-year to ₹75.2 crore, while revenue jumped 30.1% to ₹356.5 crore. EBITDA rose 7.1% to ₹122 crore, though the EBITDA margin narrowed to 34.2% from 41.5% a year ago.
Jindal Steel | Jindal Steel reported a 43.6% decline in Q1 net profit to ₹844 crore, missing the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate. Revenue rose 25.9% year-on-year to ₹15,482 crore, beating estimates, while EBITDA fell 11.5% to ₹2,660.4 crore. EBITDA margin contracted to 17.18% from 24.43% last year.
Tata Consumer Products | Tata Consumer reported a strong Q1 performance, with net profit rising 27.8% year-on-year to ₹427 crore, ahead of the CNBC-TV18 poll. Revenue grew 11.9% to ₹5,348.8 crore, while EBITDA increased 19.9% to ₹724 crore. EBITDA margin expanded to 13.5%, supported by robust 13% growth in India’s branded volumes.
Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) | CONCOR reported a largely stable Q1 performance, with net profit remaining flat at ₹266.5 crore. Revenue inched up 0.3% to ₹2,160 crore, while EBITDA rose 2.7% to ₹444.3 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 21% from 20.1% a year ago.
Shree Digvijay Cement | Shree Digvijay Cement posted a mixed Q1 performance. Net profit fell 50.5% year-on-year to ₹6.8 crore despite revenue surging 72.1% to ₹337.3 crore. EBITDA increased 22.8%, but margins contracted to 8.66% from 12.14% last year.
REC Ltd | REC reported a weaker Q1, with net profit declining 6% year-on-year to ₹4,192.7 crore. Net interest income also fell 4% to ₹5,453 crore compared with the year-ago period.
Bank of India | Bank of India reported a strong Q1 performance, with net profit rising 36% year-on-year to ₹3,068 crore and net interest income increasing 13% to ₹6,833 crore. Asset quality improved sequentially, with gross and net NPAs easing to 1.81% and 0.51%, respectively.
DCB Bank | The bank posted a healthy Q1, with net profit rising 35.6% year-on-year to ₹213.2 crore and net interest income increasing 17.8% to ₹684 crore. Asset quality improved sequentially, while provisions nearly halved from a year ago to ₹57.1 crore.
