HUL Q1 Result FY27: FMCG giant on Tuesday declared its Q1 results for FY27.

HUL Q1 Result FY27: Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) reported a 3% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,673 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 2,756 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company’s revenue from operations rose 5% YoY to Rs 17,341 crore, up from Rs 16,514 crore a year ago.

EBITDA increased 6.2% YoY to Rs 3,947 crore, compared with Rs 3,718 crore in the year-ago quarter. The EBITDA margin improved to 22.8% from 22.5% last year.

Among business segments, Home Care revenue climbed 13.5% YoY to Rs 6,554 crore from Rs 5,777 crore. Beauty & Wellbeing revenue increased 12.5% to Rs 4,083 crore, compared with Rs 3,631 crore a year earlier.

Personal Care revenue rose 3.3% YoY to Rs 2,624 crore, while Foods revenue grew 6.8% YoY to Rs 3,480 crore, up from Rs 3,259 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company reported underlying sales growth (USG) of 10% and underlying volume growth (UVG) of 5% during the quarter. Home Care posted USG of 14%, while Beauty & Wellbeing recorded USG of 12%.

Looking ahead, HUL said it expects FY27 to be better than FY26, supported by its portfolio and channel transformation initiatives. The company also expects consumer demand to improve during FY27 and said operating margins are likely to remain around the current guided range. However, it cautioned that commodity inflation and geopolitical volatility are expected to continue.
