With his victory in the Bankipur by-poll, Prashant Kishor’s wealth and investment deals have come under the spotlight. In his election affidavit, Prashant Kishor had stated he had assets worth ₹96.06 crore. His wife, Dr Jahanvi Das, had assets worth ₹101.93 crore.

Prashant Kishor’s personal wealth was mostly due to unlisted corporate equity, including a 100% controlling stake in Vedhas Ventures worth ₹95.26 crore, as per Indian Express.
The 49-year-old political advisor-cum-strategist also has market investments and bank fixed deposits worth over ₹8 crore.

Kishor has almost ₹7.36 crore in fixed deposits, which represent a significant portion of his investments. Kishor himself is the primary holder of five term deposits with HDFC Bank, according to News18 Hindi. His wife holds four FDs. Kishor’s son Daibik Bhardwaj, has two fixed deposits in HDFC Bank as well.
Fixed deposits are less exposed to stock market volatility. This makes them a stable investment in times of economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions.
Kishor’s portfolio mix denotes a mix of FDs, equities, bonds and other financial instruments. According to his affidavit, he also has residential properties in Patna’s Patliputra Colony, Ghaziabad and New Delhi’s Vasant Vihar. His total immovable assets are valued at ₹73.87 crore, while his wife’s stand at ₹12.42 crore, as per Indian Express.
