Godawari Power and Ispat Q1 net profit rises 3% to ₹222 crore as revenue jumps 32%


Steel and pellet maker Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd on Friday (August 7) reported consolidated net profit of ₹221.7 crore for the first quarter of FY27, rising 2.69% from ₹216 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue increased 32.3% year-on-year to ₹1,750.4 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹1,323 crore in Q1 FY26.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹333.6 crore, up 2.9% from ₹324 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin stood at 19.06% in Q1 FY27 compared with 24.49% in Q1 FY26.

Godawari Power and Ispat has approved the proposal for the re-appointment and fixation of remuneration of Abhishek Agrawal, Siddharth Agrawal and Dinesh Kumar Gandhi as Whole-Time Directors of the company. The decision was taken based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

The re-appointment of the three Whole-Time Directors will be for a further period of five years, subject to approval from shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on September 19, 2026.

Shares of Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd ended at ₹241.50, down by ₹2.20, or 0.90%, on the BSE.
