For the June quarter, Godrej Consumer reported a net profit of ₹504.5 crore, which was 11.5% higher than the same quarter last year. A CNBC-TV18 poll was working with a figure of ₹530 crore.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) during the quarter increased by 15.5% from last year to ₹802 crore, which was in-line with the CNBC-TV18 poll figure of ₹785 crore.
EBITDA margin during the quarter stood at 19%, 40 basis points lower than the 19.4% reported last year, but higher than the CNBC-TV18 poll figure of 18.5%.
Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹4,225.5 crore, in-line with the CNBC-TV18 poll figure of ₹4,246 crore. The figure was 18.3% higher than the same period last year.
The company’s board has also approved an interim dividend of ₹5 per share, the record date for which has been fixed as August 13, 2026.
Shares of Godrej Consumer Products are trading 1.8% lower on Friday at ₹1,057.7. The stock is down 15% so far this year.
