Aditya Infotech‘s board of directors on Wednesday (August 19) approved a proposal to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through the issuance of equity shares.

The company said the fundraise may be undertaken through one or more permissible modes, including a public issue, Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) or a combination of these methods, subject to approval from shareholders and other regulatory and statutory authorities.

The proposed securities may be issued in one or more tranches at such price or prices as may be permitted under applicable laws, stated the exchange filings. The Board has also approved seeking shareholders’ approval through a postal ballot.

Aditya Infotech said the Board has constituted a committee to deal with matters related to the proposed fundraise. The notice for the postal ballot will be submitted to the stock exchanges in due course.

The company did not specify the intended use of the funds in the disclosure. The proposed issue will comprise equity shares and will be subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

First Quarter Results

Aditya Infotech reported revenue of ₹1,402.4 crore in Q1 FY27, up 89.5% YoY, driven by strong traction for its CP PLUS brand. IP products accounted for around 79% of the CP PLUS portfolio.

Gross margin rose 810 bps YoY to 30.8%, while EBITDA jumped 220% YoY to ₹207.8 crore, with margins improving to 14.8%. Adjusted PAT surged 332.5% YoY to ₹142.2 crore, helped by lower finance costs and improved cost efficiencies.

Current capacity stands at 2.5 million units per month. The Kadapa facility is expected to double capacity over the next two years, while the new Housing & Enclosure Plant is expected to become operational by Q3 FY27, with an eventual annual capacity of 30 million units.

Shares of Aditya Infotech ended lower on Wednesday, August 19, by 1.15% at ₹3,303.50 on the NSE.
