The decisions were announced after Naidu met representatives of various employee associations to discuss their long-pending demands, according to an official government release.
The two DA instalments are due from July 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025. They will be paid from October 1, the government said.
The 12th PRC will also be appointed, with the move expected to cost the state exchequer around ₹2,880 crore a year, according to the government.

The government has also agreed to credit the 2022 surrender leave amount to employees’ accounts by the Sankranti festival, the release said.
Police personnel will receive payment for one additional surrender leave during the upcoming Dussehra festival.
The government has also decided to implement an additional quantum of pension from January 2027. Pensioners above 70 years will receive an additional 10% pension, while those above 75 years will receive an additional 15%, according to the announcement.
The Employees Health Scheme (EHS) will also be streamlined. From October, the government will make monthly payments to the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, it said.What employees’ associations said
Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association state president Surya Narayana said the appointment of the 12th PRC was due from July 1, 2023. He said the two DA instalments would be paid along with the October 1 salary.
Vidya Sagar, state president, APNGGOs Association, said pensioners and teachers had been facing the impact of delayed DA and pay revision. He said the absence of these increases had made it difficult for employees to deal with inflation and rising costs.
Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, Amaravati president, AP JAC, said issues concerning other employees, contract and outsourcing staff, and Village/Ward Secretariat staff had been referred to the Cabinet Sub-Committee and senior officials for further discussions.
The government said the decisions announced by the Chief Minister would involve an additional annual expenditure of around ₹2,880 crore.
