Purple Style Labs IPO: Shares of Purple Style Labs made a weak debut on the stock exchanges on Monday, September 7. The stock listed at Rs 535 per share on the NSE, marking a 6.96 per cent discount to its issue price of Rs 575. On the BSE, the shares opened at Rs 539 apiece, reflecting a 6.26 per cent discount to the issue price. The company currently has a total market capitalisation of Rs 4,432.58 crore, according to NSE.
The IPO had a price band of Rs 546 to Rs 575 per share and was subscribed 1.29 times on the final day of bidding. The allotment was finalised on September 3.
The face value is Rs 10 per equity share, while the price band has been fixed at Rs 546 to Rs 575 per share. The lot size is 26 shares, with the minimum investment amount for retail investors being Rs 14,950, representing 26 shares at the upper price band.
Purple Style Labs IPO Day 3 Subscription Status (September 2, 2026): The IPO was subscribed 1.29 times overall. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 1.43 times, the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) category was subscribed 0.84 times, while the Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion was subscribed 1.58 times.
Utilisation of IPO proceeds
The company intends to utilise the net proceeds from the fresh issue for investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, PSL Retail, towards expenditure on lease liabilities for Experience Centers and back-end offices in India.
The proceeds will also be used to fund the company’s sales and marketing expenses and for general corporate purposes.
Anand Rathi has assigned a “Subscribe – Long Term” rating to the Purple Style Labs IPO. According to the brokerage, the company offers a diverse portfolio of premium designer products spanning womenswear, menswear, jewellery, accessories and kidswear, with a strong focus on wedding and occasion wear. Its integrated online and offline business model allows it to cater to customers across domestic and international markets, while its expanding network of physical Experience Centers enhances customer engagement and offers an immersive luxury shopping experience.
The brokerage noted that the company’s expansion into menswear, jewellery, accessible luxury and international markets could provide additional growth opportunities. However, profitability and execution remain key factors to watch.
Purple Style Labs Limited is an omni-channel luxury fashion company and the parent company of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, a multi-brand platform for designer fashion in India. Incorporated in 2015, the company retails luxury apparel, jewellery and accessories through its website, mobile app, experience centres and curated fashion events.
