The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) was issued on September 16, according to the company’s exchange filing.
Under the two-year contract, Highway Infra will manage user fee collection and operate toll plazas along the expressway. It will also deploy four patrol-cum-safety vehicles, along with personnel to operate them.
The contract is valued at ₹105.08 crore for the first year, with a 10% escalation for the second year, taking the total value to ₹220.66 crore.
The order comes as the company continues to add toll operations contracts across key highway stretches.
Recent NHAI order
Last month, on August 18, Highway Infrastructure said it had secured an ₹80.17 crore contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for toll operations at Palayam Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu.
The contract covers user fee collection at the plaza on National Highway 44, along the Krishnagiri-Thumbipadi section between Km 94+000 and Km 180+000. The contract was awarded on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis and has a tenure of 90 days.
Palayam Fee Plaza is located on the Krishnagiri-Thumbipadi stretch of NH-44, which connects Bengaluru, Hosur and Dharmapuri and serves key industrial belts. Highway Infra had said the stretch supports passenger and freight movement, logistics activity and toll revenue potential.
Shares of Highway Infrastructure ended marginally higher on Wednesday, September 16, by 0.53% at 43.83 on the NSE.
