KNR Constructions sells Guruvayur Infra stake to Indus Infra Trust for ₹486 crore

KNR Constructions Ltd on Friday (September 18) said it has completed the sale of its entire equity share capital in subsidiary KNR Guruvayur Infra Pvt Ltd (KGIPL) to Indus Infra Trust, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The transaction was completed on September 17, 2026. The Share Purchase Agreements for the transaction were executed on December 24, 2025.

KNR Constructions said that it had invested ₹193.32 crore in KGIPL in the form of equity and subordinated debt. Following the transaction, the company received ₹485.86 crore as consideration from the purchaser.

Indus Infra Trust is a publicly listed infrastructure investment trust registered with SEBI under the SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014. The trust acquires, manages and invests in infrastructure assets across sectors and/or securities of companies engaged in the infrastructure sector.

The purchaser does not belong to KNR Constructions’ promoter, promoter group or group companies, according to the filing.

On August 29, 2026, in a separate development, KNR Constructions Ltd had received a Letter of Acceptance from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for a ₹157.55-crore road infrastructure project in Telangana, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The project, valued at ₹157.55 crore excluding GST, involves the construction of a two-lane unidirectional flyover at NFCL Junction, Banjara Hills, and a two-lane unidirectional underpass and a three-lane unidirectional flyover at TV9 Junction, Banjara Hills.

The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode, the company said. The construction period for the project is 24 months.In another development, the company had informed on March 28 that it received a Letter of Award from the National Highways Authority of India for a ₹1,734-crore hybrid annuity mode (HAM) project in Telangana.

The project involves the four-laning of an 80-km stretch of NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji section under NH(O).

KNR Constructions shares were trading 3.95% higher at ₹125.64 on the NSE at 3:13 pm on September 18.
