MyUPI is designed to provide 24/7 support for UPI-related services, including checking transaction details, raising and tracking complaints, managing recurring payment mandates and accessing fraud-awareness information.
The assistant currently supports English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, with NBSL saying more regional languages will be added over time. Payment-related actions through MyUPI will continue to require authentication using the user’s UPI PIN.
The feature is available under the Quick Actions section of the BHIM app and allows users to interact using conversational language rather than navigating multiple support channels.
What can users do through MyUPI?
Check transactions: Users can view UPI transactions across linked bank accounts and UPI apps and seek assistance for specific payments through the MyUPI interface.
Raise and track complaints: Users can raise complaints for eligible payment-related issues and track them using a complaint reference number within the BHIM app.
Verify payees before payment: Under the Pay Safe feature, users can enter a UPI ID or upload a QR code to check the payee name before making a payment.
Manage UPI AutoPay mandates: MyUPI provides a consolidated view of recurring payment mandates across linked accounts and applications. Depending on the mandate, users can pause, resume or cancel it.
Identify mandate-based debits: Where a payment is debited through a mandate without a UPI PIN prompt, MyUPI can help users identify the relevant mandate and understand the purpose of the debit.
Replay earlier transactions: Users can re-initiate eligible previous UPI payments from their transaction history. The feature covers both person-to-person (P2P) and person-to-merchant (P2M) payments, including eligible transactions originally made through another UPI app. A fresh UPI PIN authorisation is required.
De-link UPI Number: Users who do not want to receive payments through their mobile-number-linked UPI Number can de-link it while continuing to receive payments through their UPI ID, where applicable.
Block a linked bank account: MyUPI’s Safety Switch allows users to block a linked bank account in situations such as a suspected account compromise, lost phone, unexpected debit or suspicious message, with the aim of preventing further transactions on that account.
Get fraud-awareness information: Users can also use the conversational feature to seek information about suspected scam messages and commonly reported UPI fraud methods.
NBSL said MyUPI was launched by NPCI at Global Fintech Fest 2026. The company said the feature is intended to bring transaction support, complaint handling, mandate management and safety-related assistance into a single interface within the BHIM app.
