The Sensex index is also up, rising over 650 points, aiming for 77,300.Heading into the weekend, traders may want to remain light on positions considering the ceasefire uncertainties. The IT stocks, Midcap and Large Cap stocks are under pressure after TCS announced its results.
For the Nifty, Thursday’s low of 23,682 remains key, while 24,000 on the upside remains a barrier.
The Nifty Bank failed to defend 55,000 on Thursday but remains comfortably higher for the week. HDFC Life, Poonawalla Fincorp, Eicher Motors are some other stocks that should be on your radar.
