Dividend Stock 2026, Chennai Petroleum Corp Dividend 2026: Shares of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC)-backed Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) might remain in focus in the coming week as the state-owned oil company has approved an interim dividend for its shareholders, along with declaring its earnings for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), formerly known as Madras Refineries Limited (MRL), was formed as a joint venture in 1965 between the Government of Amoco, and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). It is one of the leading group companies of Indian Oil.

Board of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd today announced a dividend of Rs 54 for the financial year 2025-26.

“The Board of Directors of the Company have recommended an Equity Dividend (Final) of 540% for Financial Year 2025-26 i.e, Rs. 54 /- per equity share of face value Rs. 10/- each on the paid-up share capital, subject to the approval of shareholders at ensuing Annual general meeting of the company,” CPCL said in an exchange filing.

The record date for payment of final dividend would be intimated in due course, CPCL said in the exchange filing.

The final dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration at the AGM, the company said in the regulatory filing.

“This is in addition to the interim equity dividend of Rs 8 per equity share declared by the company during the FY 2025-26,” it added.

Shares of Chennai Petroleum Corporation were trading at Rs 1011.05, down Rs 58.40 or 5.46 per cent from the pevious closing of Rs 1069.45, at around 2 PM on the BSE.
