NSDL Dividend 2026: Rs 4 payout announced despite flat Q4 profit, revenue jumps 27% - DETAILS - Markets


The company posted a net profit of Rs 90.1 crore for the fourth quarter, largely unchanged compared to Rs 89.6 crore in the preceding quarter. Despite the muted profit growth, NSDL announced a dividend of Rs 4 per equity share, its second payout since listing, reinforcing its focus on shareholder returns.

On the operational front, revenue saw a strong uptick. Consolidated revenue climbed 27.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 458 crore, up from Rs 360 crore in the previous quarter. However, profitability metrics remained under pressure. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) declined 3.2 per cent sequentially to Rs 103.9 crore, while margins contracted to 22.7 per cent from 29.9 per cent earlier.

Dividend Details

NSDL has proposed a final dividend of Rs 4 per share for FY26, taking its total shareholder payout momentum forward after its maiden dividend of Rs 2 per share announced in September 2025. The latest payout translates to a total distribution of nearly Rs 80 crore.

The record date for the dividend is yet to be announced. The payout will be subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.

Stock Performance

The results were declared after market hours on Thursday. Shares of NSDL ended the session slightly higher, closing 0.19 per cent up at Rs 880.85 apiece, even as the broader BSE Sensex slipped 0.75 per cent. During intraday trade, the stock touched a high of Rs 897.45, rising over 2 per cent.

So far in 2026, the stock has gained over 17 per cent, reflecting steady investor interest despite a largely flat earnings trajectory.
