Hind Rectifiers Q4 Results | Net profit slides 55% despite 51% revenue growth


Power and railway equipment producer Hind Rectifiers Ltd on Saturday (May 16) reported a 55% year-on-year decline in net profit for the fourth quarter at ₹4.51 crore, compared with ₹9.99 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue for the quarter increased 51% year-on-year to ₹279.8 crore from ₹185.1 crore a year earlier. EBITDA fell 58% to ₹8.42 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹19.9 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin stood at 3.0% for the quarter, compared with 10.8% in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s board recommended a dividend of ₹1.40 per equity share, equivalent to 70% of the face value of ₹2 each fully paid up, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The dividend will be paid within 30 days of declaration by shareholders at the ensuing AGM. The date of the AGM will be announced later.

The company said its board has approved the re-appointment of Suramya Nevatia as Managing Director for a period of three years from August 17, 2026, to August 16, 2029, subject to shareholders’ approval.

Also, it approved a revision in remuneration and other terms of appointment of Akshada Nevatia as Executive Director, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, subject to the approval of shareholders.

On Friday (May 15), shares of Hind Rectifiers Ltd ended at ₹945.30, up by ₹38.30, or 4.22%, on the BSE.
