The contract covers design, engineering, supply excluding power transformers, manufacturing, forwarding, unloading, storage at site, erection, testing and commissioning on a turnkey basis for a cumulative capacity of 250MW/500MWh BESS projects at Ottapidaram SS, Annupankulam SS and Kayathar SS in Tamil Nadu.
The scope of work also includes comprehensive operation and maintenance of the BESS system for a period of 12 years from the commercial operation declaration (COD). The company said the project has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the entire capacity is scheduled to achieve COD within 12 months from the date of the letter of award.

Last week, Pace Digitek said it had secured Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) supply, erection and long-term operations and maintenance contracts from Damodar Valley Corporation for a 250 MW / 500 MWh BESS project at Maithon, Jharkhand. The combined contract value stands at ₹702 crore, including GST.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing-linked supply, installation, testing, commissioning and 12-year comprehensive operations and maintenance services. The project also includes associated civil, structural and evacuation infrastructure works.
The company said the contracts comprise supply, EPC services and long-term O&M agreements. The execution timeline is 18 months for supply and EPC execution, followed by 12 years of comprehensive O&M. Pace Digitek said the order marks its first BESS order win for FY2027. The company had reported energy order inflows of ₹5,814.7 crore in FY2026.

Shares of Pace Digitek Ltd ended at ₹179.20, down by ₹7.00, or 3.76%, on the BSE.
