Revenue from operations fell 7.3% year-on-year to ₹2,024.8 crore from ₹2,184.1 crore, while the company reported an EBITDA loss of ₹254.8 crore against EBITDA of ₹297.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The board recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per equity share for FY26.
The company’s operating revenue remained under pressure across segments during the quarter. Advertising revenue declined 5% sequentially and 4% year-on-year, while subscription revenue fell 2% quarter-on-quarter but rose 4% from a year ago.
The company said domestic advertising revenue saw healthy traction during January and February, but performance was impacted in March due to the ongoing West Asia crisis.
Revenue from other sales and services dropped sharply by 49% sequentially and 47% year-on-year.
Total expenses for the quarter increased to ₹23,418 lakh from ₹19,584 lakh a year ago, driven by higher operational and advertising costs.
Operational costs rose to ₹15,048 lakh from ₹12,819 lakh, while advertisement and publicity expenses increased to ₹4,324 lakh from ₹3,000 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.

Shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises closed 3.72% higher at ₹87.72 on the NSE ahead of the earnings announcement.
