Suprajit Engineering Q4 profit jumps over 2.5x; recommends ₹2 dividend

Suprajit Engineering Limited on Monday, May 25, reported a sharp spurt in earnings for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026. Net profit surged to ₹71.1 crore from ₹27.2 crore in the year-ago period, driven by strong revenue growth and margin expansion.

Revenue for the quarter rose 18.8% year-on-year to ₹1,041.9 crore, its highest. This is against ₹876.9 crore in Q4FY25. EBITDA increased 38.6% to ₹120.3 crore from ₹86.8 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved to 11.6% from 9.9% in the year-ago quarter.

The company’s board recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per equity share of face value ₹1 each for FY26, subject to shareholders’ approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.

For FY27, the company expects overall group revenue growth to remain in double digits, while EBITDA margin is projected in the range of 12-13.5%, including operations of the erstwhile SCS entities.

However, the company flagged concerns over ongoing geopolitical tensions in the West Asia, which could lead to higher oil prices, commodity inflation, supply shortages and transportation disruptions, potentially impacting business conditions.

Suprajit Engineering said its FY27 outlook is also dependent on customers’ planned product launches, which may vary depending on market conditions and prevailing ground realities.

The company expects group-wide capital expenditure of around ₹200 crore during the year. Planned investments include land acquisition at Auric in Maharashtra, completion of the STC building, setting up a second plant for SAL in Chennai, capacity expansion at SED, and investments in machinery, moulds, testing equipment and IT infrastructure.
