ACME Solar to raise up to ₹2,800 crore via QIP, confirms CNBC-TV18 newsbreak


Shares of Acme Solar Holdings Ltd. will be in focus on Tuesday, June 2, after CNBC-TV18 learnt that the company has launched a qualified institutional placement (QIP) to raise fresh capital.

According to sources and the term sheet accessed by CNBC-TV18, Acme Solar aims to raise up to ₹2,800 crore through the QIP.

The issue comprises a base size of ₹2,600 crore, along with a greenshoe option of ₹200 crore.

The indicative issue price has been set at ₹279.50 per share, implying a discount of about 9.02% to Monday’s closing price.

If the issue is fully subscribed, it would result in an equity dilution of approximately 11.82% of the company’s pre-issue outstanding equity share capital.

The proceeds from the fundraise will be utilised towards debt repayment and general corporate purposes.

Shares of Acme Solar Holdings ended Monday’s session 0.89% lower at ₹307.35. Despite the decline, the stock has gained nearly 29% so far in 2026.
