The company reported a positive set of earnings across most parameters but its margins witnessed a small decline from last year.
Adani Energy Solutions’ net profit more than doubled to ₹1,149 crore from ₹513 crore in the first quarter last year.
The company reported a 42.4% growth in its revenue for the June quarter to ₹9,711 crore from ₹6,819 crore in the previous year.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 30% to ₹3,008 crore from ₹2,314.5 crore last fiscal.
However, its margins saw a marginal dip to 31% from 33.9% in the year-ago period.
Adani Energy Solutions reported regulatory deferral income of ₹29 crore in the June quarter compared to an expense of ₹504 crore last year.
Shares of Adani Energy Solutions are off the highs of the day now, and are now trading 1% higher at ₹1,747.9. The stock has risen 13% over the last one month and has taken its year-to-date advance to 67%.
