The fire occurred at around 8:15 AM IST due to a short circuit on the electrical power board at the plant’s assembly manufacturing area at YSR EMC, Kopparthy, YSR Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.
“…it is hereby informed that a fire incident occurred on Wednesday, September 09, 2026, at around 8:15 A.M. (IST), due to a short circuit on the electrical power board at the Plant, Assembly Manufacturing area situated at Shed Nos. 1 to 4 and Shed No. 11, YSR EMC, Kopparthy, YSR Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh – 516003,” according to a stock exchange filing.

The company said the fire was immediately attended to and brought under control. No casualties or injuries were reported, and there was no disruption to operations due to the incident. Aditya Infotech said the facility has adequate insurance coverage for the loss and that the insurance company has already been notified.
The company added that the estimated ₹28-crore loss is subject to a detailed assessment, following which the actual extent and quantum of damage will be ascertained. The incident took place across Shed Nos. 1 to 4 and Shed No. 11 at the plant, which is owned and managed by AIL Dixon Technologies Private Ltd.
Shares of Aditya Infotech Ltd ended at ₹3,743.15, down by ₹84.05, or 2.20%, on the BSE.
