The contracts, awarded on July 9 in the normal course of business, involve converting existing overhead high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power distribution networks into underground cable systems with Ring Main Systems across the Porbandar, Bhuj and Bhavnagar circles.
The scope of work includes site surveys, design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, GIS/Geo Urja mapping developed by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), and asset tagging under the SI Scheme.
All four projects are scheduled to be completed within 18 months.
As of 2:25 pm, shares of Advait Energy Transitions were trading 1.52% higher at ₹2,225.90 on the NSE after touching an intraday high of ₹2,276.
The four projects at a glance
The largest order, worth ₹75.56 crore, is for converting the existing LT line network, including consumer service lines, into an underground cable network at the Udyognagar Subdivision (Part-1) in the Porbandar Circle under Package-61.
The company also secured a ₹64.20 crore contract to convert the existing 11 kV HT and LT line network into an underground cable network at the Mandvi City Subdivision in the Bhuj Circle under Package-43.
Another contract, valued at ₹58.25 crore, covers the conversion of the existing 11 kV HT and LT network into an underground cable system at the Adhewada (Akwada) Subdivision in the Bhavnagar Circle under Package-18.
Additionally, PGVCL awarded Advait Energy a ₹52.58 crore contract for converting the existing 11 kV HT and LT line network into an underground cable system at the Ranavav Subdivision in the Porbandar Circle under Package-58.
All four contracts have been awarded by PGVCL, a domestic entity, and cover end-to-end execution, including engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and project documentation.
