The company’s earnings increased across all key parameters — net profit, revenue and EBITDA.
Its net profit surged to ₹34 crore from ₹4 crore in the first quarter last year.
Revenue for the June quarter increased by 32.4% year-on-year to ₹436.8 crore from ₹330 crore in the previous fiscal.
Its earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was at a positive ₹29.7 crore compared to a loss of ₹1.3 crore in the year-ago period.
Amagi Media Labs had issued Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) and Optionally Convertible Preference Shares (OCPS), which were part of the company’s authorized share capital during the earlier funding rounds.
All the CCPS and OCPS have now been converted fully into ordinary equity shares in accordance with their respective terms, Amagi Media stated in its filing. There are now no outstanding CCPS and OCPS for the company.
Shares of Amagi Media Labs gained as much as 13.8% to hit an intraday and fresh all-time high of ₹727 apiece. The stock is up 101% from its issue price of ₹361 apiece and up 129% from its listing price of 317 apiece.
The stock was trading 6.5% up at ₹680.25 apiece after the results announcement. It has risen 16.6% in the past month.
