AMFI Data June 2026: Gold ETFs attract Rs 3,443 cr inflows in June vs Rs 725 cr outflow in May


AMFI Data June 2026: The Indian mutual fund industry recorded a healthy increase in assets under management in June 2026. Total industry AUM rose to Rs 82.22 lakh crore from Rs 81.58 lakh crore in the previous month, registering a month-on-month growth.

Gold ETFs turned around sharply, posting an inflow of Rs 3,443.23 crore in June against an outflow of Rs 725.04 crore in the previous month. Overall ETFs also recorded a robust inflow of Rs 13,237.76 crore compared to an outflow of Rs 620.22 crore in May.

Equity AUM witnessed strong expansion, increasing to Rs 37.34 lakh crore in June from Rs 36.14 lakh crore in May, reflecting continued investor interest in equity-oriented schemes.

Net outflows moderated significantly. The sector saw a net outflow of Rs 52,948.78 crore in June compared to a higher outflow of Rs 64,021.17 crore in the previous month.

Net equity inflows stood at Rs 28,973.41 crore in June, higher than the Rs 22,907.77 crore recorded in May.

Debt-oriented categories saw mixed flows. Liquid funds continued to witness outflows, with redemptions rising to Rs 42,293.29 crore in June from Rs 29,680.94 crore in May. Corporate Bond Funds also saw higher outflows at Rs 7,557.33 crore versus Rs 7,009.94 crore in the prior month.

Credit Risk Funds attracted higher inflows of Rs 247.55 crore compared to Rs 49.46 crore in May.

Within equity categories, all major segments saw healthy inflows. Large Cap Funds received Rs 2,067.48 crore, Mid Cap Funds saw Rs 6,090.17 crore, and Small Cap Funds garnered Rs 5,601.96 crore, all higher than the previous month.

Dividend Yield Funds continued to see marginal outflows of Rs 49.44 crore, while Sectoral/Thematic Funds witnessed improved inflows of Rs 1,469.26 crore against Rs 647.87 crore in May.

ELSS (Equity Linked Savings Schemes) recorded a slightly lower outflow of Rs 633.88 crore compared to Rs 650.78 crore in the previous month.
