The company’s client base increased by 1% on a month-on-month basis to 38.17 million from 37.79 million in April. On a year-on-year basis, the metric grew by 19.5%.
Gross client acquisition in May declined 9.7% month-on-month to 0.42 million from 0.46 million in April 2026. On a year-on-year basis, this metric also fell by 16.7%.
The number of orders placed decreased by 4% in May, in comparison to April to 130.35 million. On the flip side, the year-on-year growth was a positive 7.2%.
Average daily orders increased for Angel One during the month of May at 6.86 million from 6.79 million in April. This metric too, was up 18.5% from the year-ago quarter.
Average daily turnover (ADTO), based on notional turnover, declined 0.4% month-on-month overall, while ADTO in the futures and options segment also fell 0.2% month-on-month. On a year-on-year basis, overall ADTO grew 45.2%, while futures and options ADTO rose 42.4%.
Retail turnover market share for Angel One declined by 18 basis points on an overall basis from last month, while F&O market share increased by 11 basis points. Both metrics grew by 29 basis points and 93 basis points year-on-year.
Cash turnover market share decreased by 41 basis points month-on-month, and commodity turnover market share also fell by 813 basis points from April.
Shares of Angel One settled 2.32% lower on Wednesday at ₹334.70. The stock has rallied 42% this year so far.
