Shares of APL Apollo Tubes Ltd. were trading over 2% higher on Monday, October 26, after the company reported its Q2 FY27 results, with profit, revenue and EBITDA registering strong year-on-year growth.
Net profit rose 26.8% year-on-year to ₹382.4 crore from ₹301.5 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue increased 26.6% to ₹7,001.7 crore from ₹5,531.3 crore.
EBITDA grew 29.3% year-on-year to ₹578 crore from ₹447 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 8.2% from 8.1% a year ago.
Compared with the CNBC-TV18 poll, APL Apollo Tubes’ net profit and EBITDA exceeded estimates, while revenue fell short of expectations.
Net profit came in above the poll estimate of ₹363 crore, while EBITDA surpassed the estimate of ₹536 crore. Revenue, however, was below the poll estimate of ₹7,219 crore.
The EBITDA margin of 8.2% also exceeded the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of 7.4%.
