The paint-maker, in an exchange filing on Tuesday, said its board of directors is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 29, to consider the approval of its financial results for the second quarter and the first half of FY27 and to consider the declaration of an interim dividend for the fiscal.
If declared, the record date for the interim dividend would be Wednesday, November 4.
As per data available on the exchanges, Asian Paints has issued interim dividends to its shareholders every year since 2007, and final dividends since 2008.
It issued its highest-ever interim dividend of ₹5.15 in November 2023.

It issued its first-ever interim dividend of ₹3.5 in 2001. A year prior, Asian Paints also issued a bonus share in the 3:5 ratio to its shareholders. It also carried out a stock split, where one share of face value of ₹10 was divided into 10 shares of ₹1 each, back in July 2013.
At the end of the June quarter, promoters held 52.63% stake in Asian Paints while public shareholders held 47.29% stake, as per data available on the stock exchanges.
Mutual Funds held 10.09% stake in Asian Paints, which included ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund’s 1.84% and SBI Mutual Fund’s 4.31%.Life insurance companies had a total of 9.66% stake in the company, of which Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India held 8.11%.
As many as 9.2 lakh small retail shareholders, or those with authorized share capital of up to ₹2 lakh, had a 10.6% stake in Asian Paints, at the end of the June quarter. Data for the September quarter has not been disclosed yet.
Asian Paints shares ended the previous session 1.9% higher at ₹2,411.9 apiece. The stock has declined 3.6% in the past month, has gained 10.3% in the last six months but is down 12.4% in 2026, so far.
