In an exchange filing, Ather Energy said that its board has approved the issue and allotment of 1.08 crore equity shares of face value of ₹1 each.
Shares have been issued at a price of ₹1,202 apiece, which is a premium of 2.8% compared to the QIP floor price of ₹1,169.7 per share. However, in comparison to Monday’s closing price, the issue price stands at a discount of 7.3%.
A clutch of domestic Mutual Funds, along with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, feature in the list of allottees in the Ather Energy QIP.

Among those issued shares, Motilal Oswal MF, Axis MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life MF and Edelweiss MF already own 3.37%, 2.16%, 1.77%, and 1.24% stake in Ather Energy respectively, as per the shareholding pattern disclosed by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The shareholding pattern is for the quarter that ended on June 30, 2026.
Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s name does not feature in the list of prior shareholders in Ather Energy, meaning its stake continues to stand at less than 1%. ADIA was one of the anchor investors in Ather Energy’s IPO and also purchased some stake in a block deal earlier this year, where existing shareholders Tiger Global and NIIF had made an exit.
After the allotment of these equity shares, the total paid up equity share capital of the company has increased from ₹38.33 crore consisting of 38.33 crore equity shares to ₹39.41 crore, consisting of 39.41 crore equity shares.
The QIP had opened on Wednesday, July 15, a day after Ather Energy had raised ₹1,200 crore through a preferential issue of shares to entities such as Hero MotoCorp, whose stake in the company now stands at close to 30% and is valued at nearly ₹14,000 crore.
Shares of Ather Energy ended 1.2% higher at ₹1,297.3 on Monday, taking its year-to-date advance to 76% and its market capitalization close to ₹50,000 crore, which it crossed briefly last week.
