Emraan Hashmi‘s ‘Awarapan 2’, also starring Disha Patani has been enjoying a significant run at the box office with a profit of more than 200 percent. The film was made on a budget of Rs 45 crore as per reports and the India net number now stands at Rs 143.65 cr so far.Meanwhile, the gross domestic collection is Rs 171.20 crore. While the film was doing great even in its second week, it is the release of ‘Toxic’ which has led to a significant drop, not just in the number for ‘Awarapan 2’ but also the number of shows of the film.After collection Rs 113.50 crore in the first week, the film made Rs 5.75 crore on second Friday, Rs 8.25 crore on second Saturday and Rs 8.75 crore on second Sunday. On day 11, which was the second Monday, it made Rs 2.75 crore and saw growth on second Tuesday with Rs 3.75 crore. On Wednesday, the number went down to just Rs 90 lakhs, which is a drop of 76 percent from the Tuesday numbers. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 143.65 crore net in India.Meanwhile the worldwide collection is Rs 202.75 crore.On the other hand, Sunny Deol‘s ‘Batwara 1947’ which released with ‘Awarapan 2’, has now been washed out of theatres with an India net number of Rs 37.65 crore.Yash’s Toxic had an opening of Rs 101 crore on day 1 as a sum total in all languages.
