Jai Bajaj succeeds Rajiv Bajaj, who has led the organisation for several years. The company said the appointment is aimed at strengthening its focus on wealth management, financial distribution and digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to taking over the new role, Jai Bajaj was associated with the company in various strategic and operational capacities.
Bajaj Capital, founded in 1965, operates across investment advisory, mutual funds, insurance, loans and wealth management services.
The company stated that the leadership change comes at a time when India’s wealth management and retail investment sectors are witnessing increased participation from individual investors and growing adoption of digital financial platforms.
Bajaj Capital said it plans to continue expanding its product offerings and customer reach under the new leadership structure.
