Like every month, banks across the country will remain closed on all Sundays, as well as the second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from these standard weekly offs, many states will also observe additional bank holidays due to festivals, religious events and regional celebrations during June.
Despite branch closures, customers will continue to have access to digital banking services. Online banking platforms, mobile banking apps, UPI transactions and internet banking facilities will remain functional even on holidays, allowing people to carry out most banking activities without visiting physical branches.
Since several holidays are state-specific, the closure schedule may vary depending on the city and region. Customers have therefore been advised to confirm local holiday dates before scheduling branch-related work.
