Marine & Defence | Bharat Forge has secured a large order for marine gas turbine generators for Kolkata-class ships. Labour Update | Bharat Forge said Q1 FY27 saw unexpected manpower challenges as contract and migrant workers returned home amid the Iran war and LPG crisis, affecting steel companies and suppliers. Manpower availability has now normalised to around 70–75%, while some migrant or casual labor has not yet returned. Company said that supply challenges in the middle of Q1 FY27 were partly due to labor issues in the steel sector.
