Announcing the launch, Ashutosh Singh, MD & CEO, BSE Index Services, said, “This is the first index in the industry which gives focused exposure to India’s yield-generating real estate ecosystem. It combines listed REITs with companies having significant commercial real estate assets and rental income streams… with a 20 per cent cap on individual constituents to ensure diversification.”
