Ceigall India bags ₹274 crore Arunachal Pradesh road project from MoRTH


Punjab-based Ceigall India, in a joint venture with Rajinder Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for a ₹274.08 crore road construction project in Arunachal Pradesh, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday, August 19.

Ceigall India holds a 70% stake in the joint venture, while Rajinder Infrastructure owns the remaining 30%. MoRTH issued the LOA on August 18.

The project has been awarded under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode and involves constructing a road from km 17.812 to km 55.377 under Package-2 of the Bile-Migging section of NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.

The project has a construction period of 48 months, followed by a five-year maintenance period. The bid cost is ₹274.08 crore.

Four Arunachal projects worth ₹2,150 crore

The latest order comes a day after the infrastructure EPC firm announced that its joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining had received four LOAs from MoRTH for road construction projects worth a combined ₹2,149.62 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.

Ceigall India holds a 74% stake in that joint venture, with Sushee Infra Mining holding the remaining 26%. MoRTH issued the four LOAs on August 17, 2026.

All four projects were awarded under the EPC mode and involve constructing stretches of NH-913, or the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.

With the latest ₹274.08 crore order, Ceigall India has disclosed road projects worth around ₹2,423.70 crore in Arunachal Pradesh across its two joint ventures over August 17 and 18.Also read: SK Hynix announces $28.6 billion share buyback on AI boom

Q1 profit rises 15.5%

The project wins come after Ceigall India reported a 15.5% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹61 crore for the June quarter, compared with ₹53 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations increased 16% to ₹970 crore from ₹838 crore a year earlier.

Operating performance also improved during the quarter, with earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rising 32% to ₹143.8 crore from ₹108.9 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 14.8% from 13% a year earlier.

Shares of Ceigall India were trading at ₹310.75, up 0.52% from the previous close, following the announcement.
