Dividend stocks next week: Infosys, Coal India, Sanofi India among key names
Around 39 companies have fixed record dates for dividends next week. Among the prominent announcements, Infosys has declared an interim dividend of Rs 26 per share, while Sanofi India has announced Rs 75 per share.
Colgate Palmolive has announced a dividend of Rs 24 per share, while Coal India will pay Rs 10.25 per share. Other companies, including Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Asian Paints and Godrej Consumer Products, have also announced dividends.
Here are some of the key dividend stocks to watch next week:
Bonus issue: Concord Biotech announces 1:1 bonus shares
The company will issue bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio. This means eligible shareholders will receive one additional fully paid-up equity share for every one share held.
A bonus issue increases the number of shares held by investors without requiring them to make an additional payment. However, the share price generally adjusts in proportion to the bonus ratio.
Rights issue: Crescentis Capital, Suvidhaa Infoserve set record date
Two companies, Crescentis Capital and Suvidhaa Infoserve, have fixed November 4 as the record date for their respective rights issues.
A rights issue allows an existing company to raise additional capital by offering shares to its existing shareholders, generally in proportion to their current holdings.
Eligible shareholders should check the respective issue details, including the entitlement ratio, issue price and subscription period.
Stock split: Two companies announce share subdivision
Two companies have also announced stock splits for next week.
Gujarat Natural Resources has fixed November 5 as the record date for its stock split. The company will split its shares from a face value of Rs 10 to Rs 1 each.
Meanwhile, Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has fixed November 6 as the record date for its stock split. Its shares will be subdivided from a face value of Rs 5 to Rs 1 each.
