DMart Q1 Results: Revenue rises 15.1% YoY, EBITDA improves; profit climbs 12.8%


Avenue Supermarts Ltd, the entity that operates DMart retail chain, has reported a steady financial performance for the first quarter of FY27. The report shows that both profit and revenue registered double-digit growth despite underwhelming consumer spending in some markets.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 935.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, which shows a 12.8% rise from Rs 829.7 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations increased 15.1% year-on-year to Rs 18,343 crore, compared with Rs 15,932 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also rose 16.3% to Rs 1,526.9crore, while the EBITDA margin improved marginally to 8.3% from 8.2% a year earlier.
