The project involves surveying, soil investigation, design, supply of materials, labour and other works on a turnkey basis for providing sewer house connections and associated works in the Ramnagar Zone (Extended Area) of Nagar Nigam Varanasi.
The scope of work includes the construction of a 10 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) with a co-treatment plant, sewage pumping station (SPS), boundary wall, staff quarters, gate and site development.

The contract also includes laying and jointing of the rising main and sewer network, along with providing sewer house connections. The project has a scheduled execution period of 24 months.
EMS Ltd said the order has been awarded by a domestic entity. The company added that its promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions. The company said it will provide further updates upon receipt of the Letter of Award for the project.
Last week, EMS Ltd said it had received the lowest bidder (L-1) status from the Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Government, for a sewerage work project with an estimated order value of approximately ₹158.29 crore, including GST.

The project involves providing, laying and jointing internal and peripheral sewer lines in Tikri Kalan GOC under the command of the proposed STP at Tikri Kalan. The order has been awarded by the Office of Executive Engineer (C) DR-XV, Jal Sadan Annexe, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.
The contract is a domestic entity award and will be executed over a period of 15 months. The estimated order value stands at ₹158.29 crore, including GST. EMS said the detailed terms and conditions of the order will be as per the contract. The company will provide further updates upon receipt of the Letter of Award for the project.
Shares of EMS Ltd ended at ₹232.60, down by ₹17.85, or 3.88%, on the BSE.
