Mehta joins SBI Mutual Fund after spending 15 years at Kotak Mahindra AMC between 2010 and 2025. In his last stint at Kotak, Mehta was Joint President & National Head Sales, Marketing & Digital Business.
CNBC-TV18 reached out to both SBI MF and Mehta for their responses. The copy would be updated when we receive the responses.
Mehta would take forward the role of DP Singh, the Deputy Managing Director of the fund house. Singh has been looking after the sales of the fund house since 2008 and is slated to superannuate at the end of August, sources told CNBC-TV18.
DP Singh has been a key person to drive SBI MF’s march to the top. Singh galvanised SBI’s branch network to sell more products of the fund house.
Mehta — on the other hand — has been key in building Kotak Mahindra AMC.
