Shares of Graphite India Ltd. could open under pressure on Wednesday, September 30, after the US Department of Commerce issued a preliminary affirmative determination in an antidumping duty investigation into large-diameter graphite electrodes.
The preliminary dumping margin has been set at 12.22%, with a cash deposit rate of 9.88%. The duties remain subject to a final determination, while the effective date is yet to be notified.
Graphite India said the financial impact of the preliminary determination cannot be ascertained at present.
