Hi-Tech Pipes sees 26% yoy growth in Q1 sales volumes


Hi-Tech Pipeson Friday, July 3, reported its quarterly sales volume for the first quarter of FY27, aided by robust demand from the infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors.

The company said sales volume rose 26% year-on-year to 1,56,136 metric tonnes (MT) in Q1FY27, compared with 1,24,027 MT in the year-ago period. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, volumes increased 6% from 1,47,127 MT recorded in Q4FY26, according to exchange filing.

Hi-Tech Pipes said the volume growth was supported by its diversified product portfolio, expanded manufacturing capacities and strong customer relationships, alongside sustained demand across key end-user industries.

Shares of Hi-Tech Pipes were trading 2.33% higher at ₹87.99 on Friday.

Q4 results

The company had ended FY26 on a strong note, reporting a 27% year-on-year increase in fourth-quarter sales volume to 1,47,125 MT, up from 1,16,032 MT in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Sequentially, volumes had risen around 8%.

For the full financial year 2025-26, sales volumes increased 10% to a record 5,32,437 MT, compared with 4,85,447 MT in FY25, marking the company’s highest-ever annual sales performance.

Managing Director Ajay Kumar Bansal said the record quarterly sales reflected the company’s focus on operational efficiency, higher capacity utilisation and expanding market presence.

“We remain optimistic about the demand outlook and are well-positioned to sustain this growth momentum going forward,” Bansal said.

Hi-Tech Pipes manufactures ERW steel tubes and pipes, along with allied products, and operates multiple manufacturing facilities across India with a consolidated installed capacity of more than 1 million tonnes per annum.
