‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck bought a Beverly Crest estate back in 2023; however, within three years, the duo are ready to sell the property for less than USD 50 million even though they originally spent more than USD 60 million to initially buy it. In 2023, the couple, who have since separated, invested in a majestic home in Beverly Crest. Originally, the space had gone up for sale in 2018, and the initial selling price was a whopping USD 135 million. However, the two invested USD 60.85 million after years of market price drops to settle in.The property was initially finished in 2000 and was renovated in 2017. After being sold, the couple invested more money to have it remade their way. The 38,000-square-foot home consists of 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms in the main home alone. There is also a 5,000-square-foot guesthouse, a caretaker residence, and a two-bedroom guardhouse on the property grounds. Not only that but the estate also had a boomerang-shaped infinity pool, a 12-car garage and a motor court. The motor court can also hold up to 80 vehicles at a time.The Robb Report stated that the entire property is filled with multiple living spaces, high-end appliances, decorations tailored to the couple’s taste, a fireside bathroom, balconies offering a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, and many other amenities. The main house also holds a personal movie theater and a sports complex with a gym, a boxing ring, a bar-equipped lounge, and pickleball and basketball courts.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez break up and put the house up on the market
Affleck and Lopez officially broke up on April 26, 2024, and later finalized their divorce in January 2025. They now live in separate properties, with Affleck residing in a USD 20.5 million house in the Sullivan Canyon community, located on the border of Brentwood and Pacific Palisades. On the other hand, Lopez is staying in a USD 17.5 million Hamptons-style estate. This property was formerly owned by John Fogerty. After they parted ways, the two put it back on the market soon after.

Originally, the couple put it up for sale for around USD 60 million; however, after receiving no offers, the price was reduced on multiple occasions, with the latest price listed at USD 49.995 million.Earlier this year, in June, they landed a good offer for the home; however, the deal fell through at the last minute when the buyer backed out from escrow.
