Vande Bharat trains are rewriting the way Indians used to travel domestically. In a major boost, Indian Railways has announced plans to revise the schedule of the Mumbai–Hazur Sahib Nanded Vande Bharat Express. With new changes, it will become one of the region’s fastest premium trains. The updated timings will come into effect from May 3, 2026 (as reported by Maharashtra Times and several other media organisations). The main aim is to reduce travel time between the destinations along with improving convenience for pilgrims and travellers travelling between Mumbai and Nanded. While the time may look minor, officials say that such optimisations are part of a broader effort to improve efficiency across the Vande Bharat trains in India. It is the fastest train on this route. The train leaves from Mumbai at around 1:10 PM and reaches Nanded by 10:50 PM.
