Consolidated net profit rose to ₹41.7 crore in the first quarter of FY27 from ₹26.1 crore a year earlier.
Revenue from operations increased 19.7% to ₹369.7 crore from ₹308.9 crore. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, excluding other income, rose 40% to ₹62 crore from ₹44.3 crore.
The EBITDA margin widened to 16.8% from 14.3% in the year-earlier quarter, while the profit-after-tax margin stood at 11%.
The company said sales momentum remained strong during the quarter, with both value and volumes growing at double-digit rates. Gross margin was maintained at 45.3% despite supply-chain disruptions.
Indigo Paints, however, flagged pressure from rising raw-material costs and an inventory buildup.
Standalone profit rises 61%
On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose 18.7% to ₹350 crore from ₹294.9 crore a year earlier.
EBITDA increased 42% to ₹61.9 crore from ₹43.6 crore, while net profit climbed 60.7% to ₹42.4 crore from ₹26.4 crore.
The standalone EBITDA margin expanded to 17.7% from 14.8% in the year-earlier quarter.
Subsidiary Apple Chemie Pvt. Ltd. recorded 40.1% growth during the quarter, the company said.
Shares of Indigo Paints ended 0.1% lower at ₹1,121 on the NSE on Thursday, August 13.
