The expansion strengthens Infosys’ presence in Central India and its engagement with the region’s technology and talent ecosystem. Infosys Indore currently has more than 3,300 employees supporting global clients across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Life Sciences and Manufacturing.
The expanded centre will strengthen the company’s capabilities in cloud, application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity to address evolving client requirements. The expansion will also enable Infosys to tap into Central India’s growing talent pool.

Academic and technology partnerships
Infosys plans to deepen its engagement with Madhya Pradesh’s academic and technology ecosystem through skilling programmes and institutional partnerships. The company said these engagements will include IIT Indore, IIM Indore and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Indore Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani and Member of Legislative Assembly Manoj Nirbhay Singh Patel.
Infosys was represented by Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka, Executive Vice President Sunil Kumar Dhareshwar and Senior Vice President Niladri Prasad Mishra, along with other senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh government and Infosys.

Green building features
The new building is aligned with Infosys’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments and high-performance green building standards. The centre includes low-energy cooling, smart building automation, rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling. The facility will also have flexible workstations, training facilities and wellness centres.

Shares of Infosys Ltd ended at ₹1,060.65, down by ₹15.35, or 1.43%, on the BSE.
