Infosys headcount rises by 4,480 to 3.33 lakh in Q2 FY27; attrition eases to 12.7% – Markets

Hiring trends in focus amid cautious growth outlook

The workforce increase comes as the IT services industry navigates changing client spending patterns and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence. Infosys revised its full-year FY27 constant-currency revenue growth guidance to 1-2 per cent, from its earlier forecast of 1.5-3 per cent. The headcount figures offer an indication of the company’s workforce trends, although net employee additions do not represent total hiring, as the overall change also reflects employee exits and other workforce movements.
