IT services major Infosys reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,769 crore for the June quarter and revised the upper end of its full-year revenue growth forecast to a range of 1.5 per cent to 3 per cent.

India’s second-largest IT services company reported Q1FY27 revenue of Rs 48,211 crore, marking a 14 per cent year-on-year increase. In US dollar terms, the company reported revenue of USD 5,082 million, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 2.4 per cent and sequential growth of 1 per cent in constant currency terms.

Operating profit stood at Rs 10,163 crore, up 15 per cent from Rs 8,803 crore in the year-ago quarter. The operating margin stood at 21.1 per cent, compared with 20.8 per cent in the same quarter last year and 21 per cent in the March quarter.

Following Infosys’ Q1FY27 results, brokerages have shared their outlook on the company, ranging from neutral to bullish.

    Motilal Oswal Sees 13% Upside

Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) maintained its BUY rating on Infosys with a target price of Rs 1,170. The brokerage expects a potential upside of 13.3 per cent from the current levels.

MOFSL noted that Infosys lowered its FY27 revenue growth guidance due to macroeconomic uncertainty and weaker demand. The brokerage highlighted that Q1 revenue growth stood at 1 per cent quarter-on-quarter in constant currency terms, while margins remained stable. Strong deal wins, healthy cash flows, and investments in artificial intelligence supported its positive outlook.

Nuvama Cuts Infosys Target Price, Maintains BUY Rating

Nuvama retained its BUY rating on Infosys but reduced the target price to Rs 1,250 from Rs 1,650 following weaker-than-expected Q1FY27 growth. The revised target implies an upside of over 21 per cent.

The brokerage cited pricing pressure and weak demand in Europe as key factors behind the lower revenue guidance. It added that stable margins at 21.1 per cent, strong deal wins, AI adoption, and hiring plans remain positive factors for the company’s long-term outlook.

    Emkay Maintains BUY Rating

Emkay retained its BUY rating on Infosys and revised its target price to Rs 1,300 from Rs 1,350, implying an upside of around 26 per cent.

The brokerage highlighted that EBIT margin improved to 21.1 per cent, while AI Services contributed 8.2 per cent of Q1 revenue. Although FY27 growth guidance was reduced to 1.5–3 per cent, Emkay identified BFSI growth, AI momentum, and leadership transition as key positives.

    Morgan Stanley Sees 4% Upside

Morgan Stanley maintained its Equal Weight rating on Infosys and reduced its target price to Rs 1,075 from Rs 1,112, indicating a potential upside of 4 per cent.

The brokerage cited a weaker-than-expected quarter and a sharp cut in guidance as reasons for the revision. While deal wins remained strong, revenue conversion was impacted by subdued discretionary spending. Morgan Stanley expects limited near-term valuation triggers and flat organic growth.

    Citi Maintains Neutral Rating

Citi retained its Neutral rating on Infosys and lowered its target price to Rs 1,065, implying an upside of around 3 per cent.

The brokerage highlighted that while deal wins and margins remained supportive, lower volumes, pricing pressure, and cautious client spending continued to weigh on performance. Leadership transition and AI-related industry challenges remain key concerns.
